Definatly some of my favorite characters. It kinda made me mad that the most annoying character in FFX-2 was named Shinra, though.

I thought ShinRa was a valiant corporation. The mood they expressed over Midgar was awesome. However the "evil empire" theme has been done countless times, not to mention in the game preceding VII (VI). The empire cliché was reused in sequential games.

Yeah, I really liked shinra(Rufus) and Turk characters from ff7. I still think that they are some of the best characters Square has made. Probably the only bad asses they have made besides Sephiroth. Anyway thats why I got the Rufus banner/avitar and they got the turks goin on.
On another note to Doomy. Yeah when I saw that that little strange kid on the ship was named Shinra it kinda made me mad 2.

for reall they did, maybe they are doing the name thing where the same name appears in the other FF games, like Cid.

lol I hope not. The only name I see that pops up in lots of FF games are Cid, Biggs and Wedg.

On a bit of a side note, if anyone cares, Vincent, The Turks, and some subtle references to Shinra will be in KH: RotH, the fan game. ^_^ Yeah, that includes a living Rufus.

The Turks, the references to shinra, and some of the plot to Vincents, erm, new backstory, were mine. Lieon did the Vincent idea. I am just reworking him to fit into the story.

Well I cant remember who dies from the Turks. The only one I remember is Tsengs death. He charges at Sephiroth and he stabs Tseng with his sword.
