A great, but under-rated movie. It deserved better reviews. It's directed by Antoine Fuqua (Tears of the Sun, Training Day) and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer (Pirates of the Carribean, Bad Boys I and II, The Rock). It has a whole new concept for King Arthur. It's a whole new different type of King Arthur and isn't set in the typical Camelot stories. This movie is based off of the person who historians believed the Arthur legends came from a thousand years before during the Dark Ages, not the Medieval Times.

i actually enjoyed the minimal references and appearances of merlin. the story is great, plus i loved how the knight didn't name his children

It's finally coming out on DVD! Yes. I hope there'll be a director's cut. It originally was going to be R.
