This manga is really great! I love it, yes i realize that, and say what you will I read it for the plot. Okay, a rundown by Ikatsume, if you will. And please remember that I use japanese style ending and that I also will put the family name first for japanese names.
It's about Urahima Keitaro, who becomes land lord of an all girls dormitory. Keitaro is trying to get into Tokyo U. This is because of 15 years ago, Kei-kun and some girl promissed that they would get into Tokyo U together and live happily ever after. Wrong. Because of this disillussion Keitaro has no social skills (sorta like me). This is the first time he's ever been around girls, and he continually screws things up. His blunderous mistakes has local Todai (Tokyo U) attemper {b] Narusegawa Naru[/b] angry as hell at him, as she gradually grows in love with him, but will never admit it. Kendo student Aoyama Motoko wants to fillet him with her nihon no katana, and foreign girl Su Koalla who is the first one to openly admit she like Keitaro. It's got nothing to do with the fact that he looks exactly like her brother. Really, it doesn't. Money grubbing Konno Mitsune, more commonly know as Kitsune (wich means fox, a title given to mischevious women) has fun teasing Keitaro and antagonizing everyone. Impressionable Maehara Shinobu is always scarred by Keitaro's mistakes. The only one who saved him at first was his aunt Urashima Haruka a laid back lady in her thiries how once was in love with Seta-San. That brings us to trouble. Originally appearing in the anime Seta-san's American daughter Sara Macdougal is a troublesome girl, no oldrer than eleven. Don't fogert about Narusegawa Meigumi. Mei-chan is Naru-chan's half sister, also first to the anime. Then there's another original to anime, Kentaro who was meant as competition for Keitaro. I think the name thing was on purpose. And I must of course mention those great friends of Keitaro's, lady loving Haitani and anime expert (especially in the magical girl section0 Shirai.Of course, let me make things more confusing when we add Otohime Mutsumi anther girl going for Todai. She just so happens to have been at the same location as the other promissed girl. And then there's Tama-chan, the flying hot spring turtle. Oh yes, Haruka-san is really good with a whip. Now that we have things all crazy, lets strip these down to the bare essentials.
