first off- I got a date
that's not the problem. i have no idea what movie to take her to, wheter or not i should let her choose. whether dinner before or after the movie, what to wear. luckily she's a friend of my friends (and coworkers) so i'm not too sure if that's safe......
second off- it's a blind date
i can handle that no problem, cuz well i don't have the balls to ask somebody out to begin with (i'm extremely shy around girls)
third off- she's a friend of my friends
and if she's anything like these two friends it's gossip central, and more then likely an army of angry teenage girls wanting to kill me.
all help is appreciated. any ideas really. any thing

whoa there, take your time....
this may works
-have good coversation skills, i.e. don't talk about other people. Don't go completely on life stories, go a bit brief so she could get more interested in you
-make it more significant than a regular date so she could remember it (possibly some kind of fun eatery, movies such as Wimbledon or even Taxi)
-don't touch her unless she touches you, i.e. hands, hugs.
-eye contacts! not down there...otherwise you would see a fist going 300 mph!
-if you really want her to hold your hands, do palm reading, then change it to comparing size hands, then give her that opportunity to hold your hand
-if last resort she doesn't opens up, hold you or she doesn't like you (cold shoulders should be possibly expected), just stop say "thanks for the date anyways" and walk away
i think thats the basic or now, maybe i can think of more later...

ah a date, i dont mean 2 brag but i'm good at this stuff  . Arkon, nicely put. All the years i'v know u and i dn't know you could be a ladies man.Anyway... But make sure it something you both like, always good if she wants to see that movie also. Than if dinner seams like an option I would go to dinner after that way you have something to talk about if its getting quite. Mind you dont bring it up over an over. But hey ii have no problem with that. Opposites attract right? All and all good luck, if you dont like her just be a gentelmen and finnish the date but dont go out of your way. Maybe a rose when you frst meat if its formal or whatever. Anyway man good luck. |

*sigh* yea, i can handle the going out on a date part, but getting the person to go on one is more difficult
Extra notes on mine and Shuyin's notes
-types of flowers have significant meanings
-blind dates are easy because you can ask a lot more questons
-don't make it look like your giving up
-if any cases it won't work out, at least you got experiences (hooray you leveled up!), a friend (if she is fun to talk to anyways), and having her recommend her friends to date you.

thanks for the advice guys. i ended up talking with her friend tonight, and her and her other friend already have the night planned (sorta, not really- they just think this is the perfect setup).
it's going to be a double date. or mutual friends are going together just to make sure we don't screw up.
the funniest part is i bought a comb, the this wil lbe the first time i used one in about 3 years....
